Lookfolio is a portfolio-first platform for hair and beauty. Instead of guessing from ads, reviews, or social feeds, you browse real work by real pros, save looks you like, and share clear visual references before you ever sit in the chair.

Yelp ranks businesses with ads and reviews. Instagram shows random posts with no structure.

Lookfolio is built around portfolios. You filter by style, specialty, language, accessibility, and real work so you can choose with confidence, not guesswork.

Your Private Portfolio is for you only. Save photos, angles, notes, and multiple looks over time. When you want to share a look, you send a secure, one-time link showing only that style, not your entire history. You stay in control at all times.

Yes. You can share a secure link by text or email. No account is required for them to view it. This removes the “do you have a reference photo?” friction before the appointment.

Not yet. Verification is coming as we grow. Right now every pro on Lookfolio is personally reviewed before going live. Once live, we will verify state or local licenses and display a Verified License badge. We also allow community reporting for suspicious profiles. Reviews will come from verified appointments once booking goes live.

Yes. Lookfolio is designed to work anywhere. When you’re in a new city or country, you can show your portfolio, filter by language and specialty, and make expectations clear even if you’ve never been there before.

Mobile pros, yes — you can filter for them. Events and Groups is on the roadmap, you will be able to request Events and Groups for weddings, quinceañeras, parties, and photo shoots. Teams, availability windows, travel fees, and minimums will be shown upfront when pros set them.

We’re starting with hair to get it right. Lookfolio is built as a portfolio platform and will expand to nails, makeup, lashes, brows, and other beauty services as we grow.

Founding Pros get a permanent badge, top placement in their city, free premium features for the first year, and a direct line to the founder. Early pros help shape features and benefit from being discovered first as the platform grows.
